Overview

What Are Chroma Blooks in Blooket?

Chroma blooks are recolored variants of existing blooks, sitting above Legendary and below Unique in the Blooket rarity system.

Each Chroma takes a standard blook and applies a distinct color scheme. The Teal Platypus is a recolored Platypus; the Pirate Pufferfish is a recolored Pufferfish. Chromas do not alter gameplay. When one drops from a pack, cyan confetti fires from all corners of the screen and the blook spins and grows until it settles at the center.

Blook Score varies by obtainment method: 50 for pack Chromas pulled through RNG, 40 for event and contest Chromas, and 25 for 100% guaranteed Chromas from holiday packs. Most Chromas sell for 300 tokens; Lovely Fox and Lovely Rabbit are the two exceptions at 200 tokens each.

Obtainment Methods

Three Ways to Get Chroma Blooks (and Why It Matters)

Chroma blooks in Blooket are obtained through three distinct methods, each producing a different Blook Score value.

MethodBlook ScoreHowAvailable?
Open market packs (RNG)50Drop rate 0.02%–0.08% per packMost: yes
Buy 100% holiday packs25Guaranteed Chroma on purchaseDuring event windows only
Win events / contests40Top finish in Blooket competitionsNo, all retired

Pack Chromas carry Blook Score 50 because no token investment guarantees a pull. Guaranteed 100% Chromas eliminate RNG but award Blook Score 25, half the value of a pack pull. All Event and Contest Chromas are retired; no active method currently exists to obtain them.

The Blook Score difference is the planning decision most Chroma guides skip: a guaranteed Chroma from a holiday pack costs fewer tokens but contributes less to Blook Score than a Chroma pulled from a market pack through RNG.

Pack Chromas

Pack Chroma Blooks: Currently Obtainable

Permanent pack Chromas are obtainable from standard market packs at any time, with drop rates ranging from 0.02% to 0.08%.

Ice Monster Pack is the only market pack with three Chromas at different rates, combining for a 0.15% Chroma probability per opening, the highest of any single pack.

Table B: Seasonal Pack Chromas (2025 Season)

Super GliderSpooky Pack (2025)0.02%Halloween

Chilly ChameleonBlizzard Pack (2025)0.02%Christmas

Seasonal Chromas from prior years are retired. The Gummy Bears (Spooky 2023 and 2024), Snow Globes (Blizzard 2022), and Sweater Snowmen (Blizzard 2023) no longer drop from any active pack. Missing a seasonal window typically means waiting approximately 12 months for that pack to return.

Drop rates are community-sourced. Last reviewed: March 2026. Blooket may update rates at any time.

Day Rotation

Space Pack Astronaut Chromas: Day-of-Week Rotation

The Space Pack rotates a different Colored Astronaut Chroma each day of the week, all at 0.05% per opening.

DayAstronaut Chroma
MondayPink Astronaut
TuesdayYellow Astronaut
WednesdayBlack Astronaut
ThursdayOrange Astronaut
FridayRed Astronaut
SaturdayBrown Astronaut
SundayGreen Astronaut

Purple Astronaut and Blue Astronaut remain unreleased with no confirmed rotation day or drop rate.

Players targeting a specific Astronaut Chroma open the Space Pack on the corresponding day only. Opening on any other day produces a different Astronaut at the same 0.05% rate. A player farming Red Astronaut on Wednesday pulls Black Astronaut instead; Red Astronaut does not enter the drop pool until Friday.

Difficulty Comparison

Easiest and Hardest Chroma Blooks to Get

Ice Slime, from the Ice Monster Pack at a 0.08% drop rate, is the most accessible pack Chroma in Blooket by RNG probability.

  • Easiest by RNG: Ice Slime at 0.08%, Ice Monster Pack, 25 tokens per opening.
  • Easiest overall: Any 100% Chroma from Lovely Pack (Valentine's Day), Lucky Pack (Saint Patrick's Day), or Spring Pack (Easter). These guarantee a Chroma on every purchase with no RNG, but award Blook Score 25 rather than 50.
  • Hardest active: Ice Crab, Rainbow Panda, Super Glider, and Chilly Chameleon all carry 0.02% drop rates.
  • Hardest ever (retired): Elf Sweater Snowman from Blizzard Pack 2023 held a 0.01% drop rate, the lowest of any Chroma in Blooket history.

Ice Crab0.02%~3,465 openings~86,625 tokens
Rainbow Panda0.02%~3,465 openings~69,300 tokens

These figures are probability estimates based on stated drop rates. Each pack opening is an independent event. Past openings do not influence future results.

Guaranteed Chromas

100% Guaranteed Chroma Blooks

Lovely Pack, Lucky Pack, and Spring Pack each guarantee a Chroma blook on every purchase during their event windows, with no RNG involved.

Every opening from these packs produces a Chroma (Blook Score 25). Players prioritizing Blook Score will find market pack Chromas more efficient per point. Players prioritizing guaranteed collection take less risk with holiday packs.

Lovely Pack (Valentine's Day)

Lovely Frog, Lovely Planet, Lovely Peacock, Lovely Hedgehogs (300 tokens resell each); Lovely Fox, Lovely Rabbit (200 tokens resell each). The lower resell price on Lovely Fox and Lovely Rabbit is intentional: if they sold for 300 tokens, repeated buy-and-sell cycles would generate tokens indefinitely.

Lucky Pack (Saint Patrick's Day)

Leprechaun, Lucky Bee, Lucky Frog, Lucky Hamster. Each sells for 300 tokens.

Spring Pack (Easter)

Spring Frog, Spring Rabbit, Chocolate Rabbit, Spring Deer. Each sells for 300 tokens.

Notable Retired Event Chromas by Source

  • Contest of Candy (2022): Pumpkin King, Spooky Pumpkin, Spooky Mummy, Anaconda Wizard, Vampire Frog, Owl Sheriff, Raccoon Bandit, Chicken Chick, Chick Chicken
  • Contest of Candy (2023): Santa Claws, Cookies Combo, Chilly Flamingo, Snowy Bush Monster, Nutcracker Koala
  • Potions of Pix'ahlia: Agent Owl (Top 25), Master Elf (Top 5)
  • Pokémon Are Cool: Cyan Astronaut (Top 10), Lime Astronaut (Top 3)
  • LUNCH Event: White Peacock (Club Top 25), Tiger Zebra (Club Top 5)

If Blooket runs future competitions, new event Chromas may be awarded. Past event Chromas are not expected to return.
