Overview

What Are Legendary Blooks in Blooket?

Legendary blooks are the fifth rarity tier in Blooket, positioned above Epics and below Chromas in the obtainability spectrum.

Each legendary blook contributes 35 points to a player's Blook Score. Legendary blooks sell for 200 tokens when duplicates are sold, making them the second-highest token resell value among pack-obtainable blooks below Chromas. The Megalodon is the one exception: it sells for 250 tokens, reflecting its position as the rarest legendary in the game.

When a player pulls a legendary from a pack, orange confetti shoots from the top of the screen and the blook drops into the center. All legendary blooks are obtained by opening market packs with tokens. There is one pack that contains no legendary at all: the Breakfast Pack, where the Pizza, an Epic, holds the rarest slot at 2%.

Legendary blooks are part of the broader Blooket blooks rarity system. The tier above them, Chroma blooks, carry drop rates below 0.1% and represent a substantially higher token investment for any cumulative probability target.

Pack Counts

Legendary Drop Rates and What They Mean in Pack Counts

A 0.5% drop rate does not mean a legendary appears once every 200 packs. It means each individual pack opening carries a 0.5% chance, and every opening is independent of the last.

Cumulative probability, calculated as 1 minus (1 minus the drop rate) to the power of packs opened, shows the realistic picture. At 1%, the King reaches a 50% cumulative chance after approximately 69 packs and 86% after 200 packs. At 0.2%, the Megalodon requires approximately 347 packs to reach a 50% cumulative chance. That difference represents thousands of tokens at stake before planning begins.

Rough Pack Counts for a 50% Cumulative Chance

  • King (1%): approximately 69 packs
  • Sandwich or Ghost (0.65%): approximately 106 packs
  • Baby Shark, Lion, or Butterfly (0.5%): approximately 139 packs
  • Astronaut (0.45%): approximately 154 packs
  • King of Hearts, Mega Bot, T-Rex, or Captain Blackbeard (0.3%): approximately 231 packs
  • Megalodon (0.2%): approximately 347 packs

Which Legendary Blook Is Easiest to Target?

The King, pulled from the Medieval Pack at a 1% drop rate, requires the fewest pack openings of any permanent legendary to reach equivalent cumulative probability.

At 20 tokens per Medieval Pack opening, reaching a 50% cumulative chance for the King costs approximately 1,380 tokens. Reaching the same 50% cumulative probability for the Megalodon, also at 20 tokens per Aquatic Pack opening, costs approximately 6,940 tokens. Players targeting their first legendary get the most probability per token by focusing on the Medieval Pack.

Three legendaries carry 1% drop rates: King, Turkey, and Santa Claus. The Turkey comes from the Autumn Pack (seasonal, November) and the Santa Claus from the Blizzard Pack (seasonal, December). Both are only available for limited annual windows. A player who misses either seasonal window typically waits 12 months before that pack returns. The King, from the permanent Medieval Pack, carries the same 1% rate with no seasonal risk.

The Aquatic Pack is the only pack containing two legendaries. Baby Shark sits at 0.5% and Megalodon at 0.2%. Each pack opening rolls independently for each. Opening the Aquatic Pack does not increase the probability of pulling the Megalodon relative to its stated drop rate.

Strategy

How to Get Legendary Blooks in Blooket

Legendary blooks are obtained by opening market packs using tokens earned through gameplay, with no method guaranteeing a result within a fixed number of openings.

Pick a target blook and one pack

Opening tokens across multiple different packs reduces cumulative progress toward any single legendary. Concentrating on one pack builds cumulative probability faster per token spent.

Account for seasonal availability before spending

Turkey, Ghost, and Santa Claus are only obtainable during their seasonal windows. If a seasonal pack is unavailable, spending tokens on other packs while waiting preserves the option to shift focus when the seasonal window opens.

Use cumulative odds to set a token budget before opening

A 0.3% legendary requires approximately 231 pack openings to cross 50% cumulative probability. At 25 tokens per pack, that is approximately 5,775 tokens. Planning a budget before opening prevents spending beyond a meaningful probability threshold without realizing it.

Do not expect early results to predict later results

Each pack opening is independent. Pulling three Uncommons in a row does not make the next opening more likely to produce a legendary. Prior results carry no information about future pulls.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Legendary Blooks

  • What is the rarest legendary blook in Blooket?

The Megalodon is the rarest legendary blook, with a 0.2% drop rate from the Aquatic Pack. It also carries the highest legendary resell value at 250 tokens, compared to the standard 200 tokens for all other legendaries.

  • What is the easiest legendary blook to get in Blooket?

The King, from the Medieval Pack at a 1% drop rate, is the easiest permanent legendary to obtain. It requires the fewest pack openings to reach any given cumulative probability target and is available at all times with no seasonal restriction.

  • How hard is it to get a legendary blook in Blooket?

At a 1% drop rate, a legendary requires approximately 69 pack openings to reach a 50% cumulative chance of having pulled it at least once. At 0.3%, that figure rises to approximately 231 openings. No number of pack openings guarantees a legendary, because each opening is an independent probability event.

  • What is the rarest blook in Blooket overall?

The rarest blook in Blooket is Tim the Alien, a Mystical tier blook awarded to top finishers in the 2021 Pokémon Are Cool event, owned by fewer than a handful of players. Mystical blooks sit above Legendary in rarity and are no longer obtainable through any current method.
