How Blooket Packs Work
Blooket packs are themed collections of blooks purchased with tokens in the Blooket Market, where each opening returns one random blook determined by the pack's drop rate table. Players spend tokens to open a pack, receive one blook, and the rarity of that blook is decided by probability at the moment of opening.
Market and Seasonal packs cost between 20 and 25 tokens per opening. The token amount determines how many packs a player can open, and the drop rates determine how likely each rarity tier is on any single pull. Players earn up to 500 tokens per day through gameplay.
Packs were originally called "Boxes" from Season 1 through Season 3. Blooket renamed them to "Packs" when Season 4 launched on August 22, 2022. The mechanic stayed the same: each opening is an independent event, meaning previous results do not influence the next pack's outcome. A player who opened 500 packs without pulling a Legendary still faces the same per-pack rate on opening 501.
Every Blooket Pack by Category
Blooket contains packs across five categories: Market Packs purchasable with tokens year-round, Seasonal Packs tied to specific holiday windows, One-Day-Only Packs selling guaranteed Chromas on single calendar dates, Free Packs given to every player at signup, and one Hidden Pack that activates only under special conditions.
Market Packs (Always Available)
Market Packs stay in the Blooket Market permanently. Each costs either 20 or 25 tokens per opening and contains blooks distributed across Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and (in some packs) Chroma tiers.
| Pack | Cost | Blooks | Legendary | Chroma | Legendary Rate | Chroma Rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Space Pack | 20t | 15 | Astronaut | Colored Astronauts (rotate daily) | 0.45% | 0.05% |
| Medieval Pack | 20t | 10 | King | None | 1.00% | None |
| Wonderland Pack | 20t | 11 | King of Hearts | None | 0.30% | None |
| Bot Pack | 20t | 8 | Mega Bot | None | 0.30% | None |
| Safari Pack | 20t | 11 | Lion | Rainbow Panda | 0.50% | 0.02% |
| Aquatic Pack | 20t | 12 | Baby Shark + Megalodon | None | 0.70% (combined) | None |
| Breakfast Pack | 20t | 10 | None | None | None | None |
| Outback Pack | 25t | 10 | Sugar Glider | Teal Platypus | 0.37% | 0.03% |
| Pirate Pack | 25t | 10 | Captain Blackbeard | Pirate Pufferfish | 0.30% | 0.03% |
| Dino Pack | 25t | 8 | T-Rex | None | 0.30% | None |
| Ice Monster Pack | 25t | 11 | Yeti | Ice Slime, Frozen Fossil, Ice Crab | 0.35% | 0.15% (combined) |
| Bug Pack | 25t | 9 | Butterfly | Blue Butterfly | 0.50% | 0.03% |
| Lunch Pack | 25t | 10 | Sandwich | Half a Sandwich | 0.65% | 0.04% |
Each pack page contains the full blook roster, complete drop table, cumulative probability snapshots at key token thresholds, and Strategy Mode economics.
Seasonal Packs (Limited-Time, Annual)
Seasonal Packs appear in the Market only during their specific holiday event windows. Once the event ends, the pack leaves the Market until the following year. Drop rates, available Chromas, and blook rosters can change between seasons.
| Pack | Cost | Season | Legendary | Chroma | Legendary Rate | Chroma Rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Spooky Pack | 25t | Halloween (Oct) | Ghost | Skeleton Fish | 0.65% | 0.06% |
| Autumn Pack | 25t | Thanksgiving (Nov) | Turkey | Goldfinch | 1.00% | 0.05% |
| Blizzard Pack | 25t | Christmas (Dec to Jan) | Santa Claus | Peppermint Bark, Snow Globe | 1.00% | 0.05% (combined) |
Individual pack pages reflect the most recent confirmed data for each season. Blooket has retired several Blizzard Pack Chromas in past years, and new Chromas can appear each season.
One-Day-Only Packs (Guaranteed Chromas)
Three packs sell guaranteed Chromas on specific calendar dates with no drop rate randomness. Unlike Market and Seasonal packs, these are direct purchases at fixed token prices rather than probability-based openings. Every blook inside is Chroma rarity, and prices increase for each blook added in later years.
| Pack | Date | Blooks | Price Range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lovely Pack | ~February 14 | 6 Chromas | 250 to 1,500t per blook |
| Lucky Pack | ~March 17 | 5 Chromas | 500 to 2,000t per blook |
| Spring Pack | ~Easter | 4 Chromas | 500 to 2,000t per blook |
Because these packs guarantee a specific Chroma on purchase, the BlooketIQ calculator's probability model does not apply to them. The decision is token budgeting, not probability estimation.
Free Packs (Starter Blooks)
Five Free Packs unlock automatically when a player creates a Blooket account: Farm Animal Pack, Pet Pack, Forest Animal Pack, Tropical Animal Pack, and Arctic Animal Pack. All blooks inside are Common rarity. No tokens are required, and no drop rate mechanic is involved. These blooks form the base of every player's collection.
Hidden Packs
The Color Pack is the only confirmed Hidden Pack. It activates during hosted games when the number of players exceeds the number of available blook selections. The pack contains 21 solid-color blooks and cannot be purchased in the Market. Community sources reference a second rumored pack (Clockwork Pack), but it is not obtainable through any confirmed method.
Blooket Pack Drop Rates: Full Rarity Breakdown
Every Market and Seasonal pack distributes blooks across five rarity tiers with fixed percentage rates per opening. The table below shows the complete single-pack drop rate for each rarity tier across all probability-based packs. These rates describe the chance per individual opening, not cumulative probability across multiple openings.

| Breakfast | 75% | 18% | 7% | None | None |
*Aquatic Pack's 0.70% Legendary rate splits between Baby Shark (0.50%) and Megalodon (0.20%).
Three packs tie for the highest single-pack Legendary rate at 1.00%: Medieval, Blizzard, and Autumn. Spooky Pack carries the highest per-opening Chroma rate at 0.06% (Skeleton Fish). Ice Monster Pack holds the highest combined Chroma rate at 0.15% across three separate Chromas (Ice Slime at 0.08%, Frozen Fossil at 0.05%, and Ice Crab at 0.02%). Breakfast Pack is the only Market pack with no Legendary and no Chroma slot. Drop rates are community-sourced and may change if Blooket updates pack odds.
What Drop Rates Mean Across Multiple Pack Openings
A single-pack drop rate only describes the chance on one opening. When players open the same pack many times, their cumulative probability of pulling at least one target blook follows the formula 1 − (1 − p)^N, where p is the per-pack drop rate, and N is the total number of openings.
Medieval Pack at 1.00% Legendary rate illustrates how cumulative odds build:
- After 50 openings (1,000 tokens): approximately 39.4% cumulative chance
- After 69 openings (1,380 tokens): approximately 50% cumulative chance
- After 200 openings (4,000 tokens): approximately 86.6% cumulative chance
- After 500 openings (10,000 tokens): approximately 99.3% cumulative chance
Even at 99.3%, the result is not guaranteed. Each pack opening remains independent, and the 500th opening carries the same 1.00% rate as the first. This distinction matters more for lower-rate chases. A Chroma at 0.02% (like Rainbow Panda from Safari Pack) requires approximately 3,466 openings just to reach a 50% cumulative chance, costing roughly 69,320 tokens at 20 tokens per pack.

Token Cost Tiers and Pack Efficiency
Market packs are split into two token cost tiers. Seven packs (Space, Medieval, Wonderland, Bot, Safari, Aquatic, Breakfast) cost 20 tokens per opening. Six packs (Outback, Pirate, Dino, Ice Monster, Bug, Lunch) cost 25 tokens per opening. All Seasonal packs also cost 25 tokens.
The same token budget buys different numbers of openings depending on pack cost. A player with 5,000 tokens can open 250 packs from a 20-token pack or 200 packs from a 25-token pack. But more openings do not always mean better odds for a specific chase. Medieval Pack at 20 tokens and 1.00% Legendary rate produces higher cumulative Legendary probability per token than Pirate Pack at 25 tokens and 0.30%.
Selling duplicate Uncommon, Rare, and Epic blooks returns tokens that fund additional openings, reducing the effective cost per pack. BlooketIQ's Strategy Mode estimates this adjusted pack count for any token amount by calculating expected resell value from each pack's drop table. Individual pack pages break down the exact Strategy Mode economics for each pack.
The "best" pack depends entirely on the chase target: highest Legendary rate, highest Chroma rate, most total openings, or a specific named blook. Token efficiency varies across all three dimensions.
Blooket Pack Facts and Probability Insights
Blooket's pack system contains several statistical patterns that surface only when analyzing drop rates across all packs together.
- Space Pack contains 7 Chromas, more than any other pack: Each Colored Astronaut rotates daily at 6:00 PM EST, making each day of the week a different Chroma chase. Friday is the only day to target the Red Astronaut.
- Aquatic Pack is the only pack with 2 Legendaries: Baby Shark (0.50%) and Megalodon (0.20%) combine for a 0.70% Legendary rate per opening, the highest of any pack.
- Breakfast Pack is the only Market pack with no Legendary and no Chroma: Every blook inside falls into Uncommon, Rare, or Epic rarity.
- Medieval Pack reaches a 50% cumulative Legendary chance in approximately 69 openings (1,380 tokens): Its 1.00% rate is the fastest path to a coin-flip Legendary probability.
- Spooky Pack's 0.06% Chroma rate is the highest single-opening Chroma chance of any pack: Reaching 50% cumulative Chroma probability still requires approximately 1,155 openings (28,875 tokens).
- Ice Monster Pack's three Chromas combine for a 0.15% total Chroma rate per opening: No other pack comes close to this combined Chroma density.
- Space Pack is the only pack that has cost 20 tokens since Blooket's Season 1 launch: Every other Market pack has had at least one token cost change since release.

Can you guarantee a Legendary or Chroma from opening packs?
No number of pack openings guarantees any specific blook. Each opening is an independent event carrying the same drop rate regardless of how many packs came before it. Cumulative probability increases with more openings but never reaches 100%. The BlooketIQ calculator shows exactly how cumulative odds build for any pack and token amount, so players can set realistic expectations before spending.
