Overview

What Are Common Blooks in Blooket?

Common blooks are the base-tier rarity in Blooket, free by default and mechanically distinct from every other rarity above them.

Every player receives the full set of standard Common blooks automatically on account creation, and unregistered guest accounts receive them too. No token spending, no pack opening, and no event participation is required.

When a player joins a hosted game, the game assigns a random Common blook at the start. The player can freely switch to any other standard Common before play begins. This free switching applies only to standard Commons; Color Pack blooks, covered in the section below, work differently.

Common blooks sit at Blook Score zero. They do not contribute to a player's overall Blook Score total, and they cannot be sold on the market for tokens. The sell value for every standard Common is 0. This design separates Commons from every other rarity: Uncommon blooks and above carry both a Blook Score and a token sell value, and all of them require pack purchases to obtain.

Complete List

All Common Blooks by Pack (with Per-Blook Drop Rates)

Common blooks distribute across five free animal packs, and per-blook assignment rates differ by pack because each pack contains a different number of blooks.

The probability logic is straightforward: a pack with 8 blooks assigns roughly 12.5% per blook, while a pack with 14 blooks spreads that same probability pool across more entries, dropping each individual rate to around 6%. This means Farm Animal and Pet blooks appear statistically more often in-game lobbies than Tropical Animal blooks, not because of any rarity weighting, but because of pack size alone. For the full blooks rarity overview, including every tier above Common, the same pack-size principle applies to paid packs.

PackCommon BlooksPer-Blook Rate
Farm Animal PackAlpaca, Chick, Chicken, Cow, Duck, Goat, Horse, Pig, Sheep~12.5% each
Pet PackCat, Dog, Goldfish, Hamster, Kitten, Puppy, Rabbit, Turtle~12.5% each
Forest Animal PackBear, Beaver, Deer, Fox, Hedgehog, Moose, Owl, Raccoon, Squirrel, Wolf~10% each
Arctic Animal PackArctic Fox, Arctic Hare, Baby Penguin, Penguin, Polar Bear, Seal, Snowy Owl, Walrus~10% each
Tropical Animal PackAnaconda, Capuchin, Cockatoo, Giraffe, Gorilla, Hippo, Jaguar, Macaw, Orangutan, Panther, Parrot, Rhino, Tiger, Toucan~6% each

Rates reflect in-game random assignment probability per blook within each pack. Color Pack blooks are not included above; they activate through a separate overflow mechanic described in the next section.

Overflow System

How the Color Pack Activates When All Commons Are Taken

The Color Pack is a hidden overflow system that activates automatically when a game lobby has more players than available standard Common blooks.

The trigger condition is straightforward: once every standard Common blook in the pool is already assigned to another player in the same lobby, the game draws from the Color Pack to fill remaining slots. Affected players receive a random Color Pack blook such as Red, Blue, Teal, Pink, or Maroon.

There is one key mechanical difference from standard Commons. Players assigned a Color Pack blook cannot switch between Color Pack blooks the way standard Common players can swap freely between Farm, Pet, Forest, Arctic, or Tropical blooks before a game starts.

Color Pack blooks are still classified as Common rarity. They carry a Blook Score of zero and cannot be sold for tokens.

White is the only Color Pack blook that remains unreleased. It is not currently obtainable through any in-game method and does not appear in the active Color Pack pool.

Higher-Rarity Reskins

Which Common Blooks Have Chroma, Event, or Unique Reskins

A number of Common blooks serve as the base design for higher-rarity variants, including Chroma, seasonal event, and Unique blooks that are obtained through entirely separate mechanics.

The relationship is one-directional: the Common blook is the base model, and its reskin is a distinct blook at a higher rarity tier. Owning the Common base blook does not affect the ability to obtain its reskin; each reskin follows its own obtainment rules independently.

For obtainable Chroma reskins currently available through active packs and events, each blook's individual page details the exact drop rate, the specific pack, and the cumulative probability across multiple openings. The Wise Owl page covers its retired status, estimated holder count, and sell-lock implications separately.

Rarity Ladder

What Common Blooks Don't Have (and Where the Rarity Ladder Begins)

Common blooks are the only rarity in Blooket with no sell value, no Blook Score contribution, and no pack-based drop rate. Every rarity above them introduces at least one of those mechanics.

FeatureCommonUncommon and Above
Sell value0 tokens10 tokens (Uncommon) to 300 tokens (Chroma)
Blook Score010 (Uncommon) to 50 (Legendary)
Obtained viaDefault, freePack openings using tokens

From Uncommon upward, every blook is tied to a specific pack with a stated drop rate, and the number of pack openings required to reach a target probability is calculable. Uncommon blooks start at drop rates between 10% and 20% depending on the pack. For any pack above Common tier, the BlooketIQ calculator maps cumulative probability across any number of openings using the same independent-event model applied across all rarity tiers.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Common Blooks

  • Can you get Common blooks from packs?

Common blooks do not require pack purchases. They are available to every player automatically, including those on guest accounts, with no token cost. Free packs such as Farm Animal, Pet, Forest Animal, Arctic Animal, and Tropical Animal are not purchasable; the blooks they contain are simply part of the default roster.

  • Do Common blooks affect your Blook Score?

Common blooks contribute zero to Blook Score. Only Uncommon blooks and above carry a score value, starting at 10 for Uncommon. A player's total Blook Score reflects only the blooks obtained through pack purchases, events, or special obtainment methods.
