- Crazy Kingdom: Penguin has a special linked set with Baby Penguin. Penguin first warns the player: “Two baby penguins are going to come by, only listen to the one named Timmy.” Baby Penguin then appears as either Timmy or Paul with different requests and consequences. Penguin also independently asks for friends to help with fishing (changed from asking for materials after the Crazy Kingdom rework).
- Tower Defense: Penguin is a placeable tower with its own upgrade path.
- Tower of Doom: Default card stats are 14 Strength, 6 Charisma, 6 Wisdom — one of the highest Strength values among Common cards.
- Factory: Functions as a placeable production unit.
- Café: Appears as a customer.

Penguin is a black-and-white adult penguin blook — the parent counterpart to Baby Penguin. Not to be confused with Baby Penguin or Cozy Baby Penguin (retired Chroma). Penguin itself does not have any Chroma variants.

- The Penguin/Baby Penguin trust test in Crazy Kingdom (Timmy vs Paul) is one of the mode’s most memorable multi-turn storylines — players must remember which baby penguin to trust based on Penguin’s earlier warning.
- Penguin has 14 Strength in Tower of Doom — the second-highest Strength among Common cards after Cow (12 Strength). Note: Penguin surpasses Cow despite being from the Arctic rather than the Farm.
- After the Crazy Kingdom rework, Penguin’s fishing question changed from asking for materials to asking for friends to help — a softer request with different resource outcomes.
