Spooky Pumpkin was awarded to top Contest of Candy finishers and is now permanently retired.
The Contest of Candy (CoC) was a competitive Blooket event held annually from 2019 through 2022 during Spooktober. Spooky Pumpkin was the broadest-tier prize in the CoC structure: the top 15 players received it in 2020, the top 25 in 2021, and the top 100 in 2022. Players in the top 5 (or top 10 in 2021) also received Spooky Mummy, and 1st place received Spooky Ghost (Mystical) along with both Chromas.
In 2023, the Contest of Candy shifted to a Christmas theme with entirely new prizes — Hamsta Claus (Mystical), Nutcracker Koala, and others. All Halloween-era CoC blooks were retired. Approximately 150 players own Spooky Pumpkin across all three years of distribution.

Its stats are identical to Ice Crab in Fishing Frenzy. Spooky Pumpkin is one of only three seasonal blooks that appear in Fishing Frenzy (alongside Santa Claus and Swamp Monster).
Monster Brawl (Halloween)
Spooky Pumpkin appears as an enemy and a boss in the Spooky Plains Halloween map of Monster Brawl. Its boss stats mirror the Ice Crab boss from the standard Snowy Plains map.

Spooky Pumpkin is a Chroma reskin of the Pumpkin blook, an Uncommon from the Spooky Pack.
The design transforms the standard orange Pumpkin into a ghostly, greyscale version with an eerie glow. The carved jack-o’-lantern face is retained but given a more sinister appearance. Spooky Pumpkin is one of four Pumpkin Chroma reskins: Spooky Pumpkin (CoC event), Pumpkin Cookie (Spooky Pack 2022, retired), Haunted Pumpkin (Spooky Pack, retired), and Pumpkin King (CoC event). The Pumpkin Uncommon has more Chroma reskins than most blooks.
