How to Get Hamsta Claus in Blooket
Hamsta Claus was awarded to the top 3 players in the 2023 Contest of Candy and is currently unobtainable.
The 2023 Contest of Candy was a Christmas-themed edition held December 8–9, 2023. It replaced the Halloween format that ran from 2019 through 2022, retiring Spooky Ghost as the top Mystical prize in the process. Players answered questions to earn candy canes at a rate of 100 per correct answer. Those candy canes were spent on packs containing randomized stickers, with a new pack rotating in every hour. The first player to complete all sticker sets, or the player closest to completion when the event ended, won. Prize tiers ranged from Santa Claws (1 completed set) up through Nutcracker Koala (top 50 players), with the top 3 players receiving Hamsta Claus as the Mystical prize.
Three players earned Hamsta Claus: XOTIC5, notmonkxy, and painbow. All three placed in the top 3 of the leaderboard. Only 3 copies of Hamsta Claus exist.
The Contest of Candy has not returned in 2024 or 2025. Whether Hamsta Claus will be awarded again depends entirely on whether a future Contest of Candy runs and uses the same prize structure. For now, it remains unobtainable through any method.

Hamsta Claus in Game Modes
Hamsta Claus appears in only 1 Blooket game mode, Café.
It shows up as a customer, the same role shared by all Mystical blooks. Hamsta Claus does not appear in Tower Defense, Fishing Frenzy, Crypto Hack, or any other game mode. Outside of Café, it functions as a cosmetic-only collectible and profile avatar, the same as Rainbow Astronaut.
Hamsta Claus Design & Appearance
Hamsta Claus is a holiday-themed reskin of the Hamster blook, a free Common from the Pet Pack.
The Hamster’s body and shape are kept, but the blook is dressed in a full Santa Claus outfit, red hat, red suit, and white trim. This makes Hamsta Claus the only Mystical blook based on a Common. Every other Mystical is a reskin of a Rare (UFO for Tim the Alien), a Legendary (Ghost for Spooky Ghost, King for Phantom King), or a Chroma (Red Astronaut for Rainbow Astronaut). Hamsta Claus is also described as a dual reskin, combining the Hamster’s body with the Santa Claus Legendary’s outfit and theme. No other Mystical draws from two separate blooks in its design.
The animation features multiple moving components. Snow falls continuously around the blook while two wrapped presents float up and down on either side. This makes Hamsta Claus the only Mystical with more than one animated element. Phantom King has a single floating sword, and Spooky Ghost has a single levitation motion. Hamsta Claus has three, the snow and both presents move independently.

- It is the only Mystical based on a Common blook. Every other Mystical is a reskin of a Rare or Legendary.
- Hamsta Claus is the only Mystical considered a reskin of 2 blooks simultaneously, the Hamster (body and shape) and Santa Claus (outfit and theme).
- It is the only Mystical with more than one moving animation component. The snow and both floating presents animate independently, three separate elements in total.
