How to Get Rainbow Astronaut in Blooket
Rainbow Astronaut was awarded to the top club in the LUNCH event and is currently unobtainable.
LUNCH stands for Legendary Universal Never-before-Seen Championships of Hockey, a club-based Blooket competition held on March 5–6, 2022. The event ran for approximately 26 hours, making it one of the shortest official Blooket competitions. Players formed clubs, purchased and managed hockey team rosters, and competed in tournaments to earn trophies. Prizes were distributed by club ranking, the top 25 clubs received White Peacock (Chroma), the top 5 received Tiger Zebra (Chroma), and the 1st-place club received Rainbow Astronaut (Mystical) along with both Chromas.
The winning club was called The Preeminent. The team reportedly changed its name six times before settling on the final version. All members of The Preeminent received Rainbow Astronaut, estimated at approximately 15–25 players based on club size limits at the time. Rainbow Astronaut was designed by Blooket’s founders, Tom and Ben Stewart.
The LUNCH event has only been held once and has not returned. Rainbow Astronaut remains unobtainable unless a future event reintroduces it. It cannot be obtained from the Space Pack, any other pack, or through trading.

Rainbow Astronaut in Game Modes
Rainbow Astronaut appears in only 1 Blooket game mode, Café.
It shows up as a customer in Café mode, the same role shared by all Mystical blooks. Unlike the Red Astronaut Chroma, which appears in both Fishing Frenzy and Café, Rainbow Astronaut does not appear in Fishing Frenzy, Tower Defense, or any other game mode. Outside of Café, it functions as a cosmetic-only collectible and profile avatar.
Rainbow Astronaut Design & Appearance
Rainbow Astronaut is the only blook in Blooket whose animation continuously shifts through the full color spectrum.
The blook does not exist as its own separate image file. It is technically a Red Astronaut with a CSS hue rotation filter applied, the color shifts seamlessly from red through orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple in a continuous gradient loop, then cycles back. The Blooket community describes this as “graphically inexistent,” meaning the visual is generated programmatically rather than drawn as a unique sprite. This makes Rainbow Astronaut the only Mystical whose animation changes colors. Other Mysticals levitate, float, or have moving parts, but they all stay a fixed color.
Rainbow Astronaut sits at the top of the Astronaut variant family, the largest blook family in Blooket with over 12 reskins. The base Astronaut is a Legendary from the Space Pack, and 7 Colored Astronaut Chromas rotate daily within that same pack at a 0.05% drop rate per opening. Rainbow Astronaut is not one of these Colored Astronaut Chromas. It cannot be obtained from the Space Pack or any pack, it is a Mystical-tier event reward, a tier above Chroma entirely. Two additional Astronaut variants, Cyan and Lime, were awarded from the PAC event alongside Tim the Alien.
