Flappy Blook only exists inside the lobby screen while waiting for a host to start the main game, which sets it apart from every other entry in Blooket’s game mode lineup. It isn’t a selectable Hosting, Solo, or Homework mode at all, since there’s no way to launch it directly or play it outside that waiting window. The name itself has never been officially confirmed by Blooket, having been assigned by the community instead.
A small gaming console icon appears next to the “Waiting for Host” message once a player joins a lobby, and clicking it opens the mini-game. The moment the host starts the main session, Flappy Blook closes automatically and play shifts to the actual game mode. There’s no setting, code, or host action that enables or disables it beyond simply being in that waiting state.
Clicking the mouse, tapping the screen, or pressing the spacebar makes the character flap upward, and the goal is guiding it through gaps between a series of pipes. Three separate outcomes end a run: colliding with a pipe, sinking into the ground, or flapping too high off the top of the screen. Any of these three resets the attempt back to zero.
Four medal tiers reward a run based on final score, each with a fixed point range.
| Medal | Points |
| Bronze | 0–9 |
| Silver | 10–24 |
| Gold | 25–49 |
| Amethyst | 50+ |
There’s no leaderboard connecting these scores across players or sessions. Each run only measures against these four tiers individually.
No, Flappy Blook is the only active Blooket experience that gives no tokens or XP, since it isn’t counted among Blooket’s actual game modes. Every other entity in Blooket’s full mode lineup, including every Plus-only and seasonal mode, pays out some token rate for correct answers. Flappy Blook has no questions to answer at all, which is the structural reason no currency changes hands here.
Whatever blook a player has equipped in their main Blooket profile becomes their character in Flappy Blook, rather than the mini-game drawing from any specific pack or blook pool. Custom Blooks display as the default Light Blue Blook instead, since a Custom Blook is built from several combined image layers that the mini-game can’t render as one sprite. Mystical blooks lose their special animation entirely when used here.
Switching to a different blook mid-run restarts the current attempt from the beginning, but the score already earned carries over rather than resetting to zero.
Flappy Blook sits among a small group of Blooket experiences built around actually moving a character on screen, alongside Monster Brawl and several seasonal or Plus-only modes like Laser Tag, Egg Hunt, Cocoa Cottage, and Tag Or Treat. Most of Blooket’s mode lineup runs on stationary menus and chest-style picks, which makes this small group of movement-based experiences the exception rather than the norm.
No, the mini-game only becomes available after joining a lobby and seeing the “Waiting for Host” screen. There’s no standalone way to access it.
No, switching blooks restarts the current run’s position, but the score already earned in that session carries forward rather than resetting.
Yes, but its special animation won’t display while playing. The blook still appears, just without its usual Mystical-tier visual effect.
No, Flappy Blook has no host controls, settings, or selectable option anywhere in Blooket’s hosting menu. It only appears automatically in the waiting lobby.
Amethyst is the top tier, awarded for any score of 50 points or higher. There’s no tier above it currently documented.
