Monster Brawl and Zorblitz share this page for a practical reason, not a mechanical one: neither draws enough individual search volume to justify a standalone guide, and the two modes work nothing alike. Monster Brawl is a real-time map shooter available across Hosting, Solo, and Homework play, while Zorblitz is a Solo and Homework-only brick-breaker released across four separate content phases. Each section below covers one mode on its own terms.

Monster Brawl

How Does Monster Brawl’s Core Loop Work?

A correct answer spawns a wave of enemies on a 2D map, and the player moves their character around that map to auto-attack nearby monsters while collecting XP crystals they drop. Reaching enough XP triggers a level-up and a weapon pick or upgrade, and the cycle repeats with tougher waves each round. Reaching Level 60 ends the match in victory, requiring exactly 2,591 XP to get there.

Monster Brawl was Blooket’s first 2D game mode, giving it real spatial movement that no earlier mode in this series has: no track, no slots, no chest grid, just a character moving around a live map.

Which Maps Can You Play in Monster Brawl?

Three maps are available: Snowy Plains, Clock Tower, and Spooky Plains. Spooky Plains only appears during Spooktober, running as a Halloween-themed reskin of Snowy Plains that keeps identical enemy stats under new Halloween assets, the same reskin pattern seen elsewhere on Blooket.

What Happens When You Run Out of Health?

The outcome depends entirely on which mode a player is in. In Solo play, hitting zero health ends the game immediately. In Hosting mode, a defeated player can respawn on the map by answering three questions correctly in a row.

Which Weapons Deal the Most Damage, and What Are Level 11 Combos?

Monster Brawl carries 17 named weapon upgrades, each scaling through 10 levels of its own progression. Juggling Spheres and Sticky Syrup both top out at 40 damage, with Dark Energy close behind at 35, making them the highest base-damage options in the roster.

Reaching Level 10 on two specific, compatible weapons unlocks a bonus Level 11 fusion effect on top of their normal upgrades. Confirmed pairings include Rapid Eggs with Flying Feathers, Sticky Syrup with Buzzing Bees, and Rapid-fire Lasers with Slicing Cards, among others. Not every weapon has a fusion partner, so several strong standalone options top out at Level 10 with no combo available.

How Many Tokens Does Monster Brawl Award?

Monster Brawl currently pays 2 tokens per correct answer, with a maximum session cap of 176 tokens. That cap rose from a previous limit of 135 tokens following an August 2025 rework.

Zorblitz

How Does Zorblitz’s Core Loop Work?

Zorblitz runs on a paddle-and-ball brick-breaker loop: move a paddle to bounce a ball, clear bricks across the screen, and dodge debris that space-themed aliens throw down at the paddle. Periodically, a tractor beam locks the ball in place and pulls up a trivia question, and answering it correctly releases the ball so play can continue. Certain marked bricks drop power-ups like extra lives or a temporarily larger paddle.

What Are Zorblitz’s Four Level Phases?

Zorblitz launched with 48 total levels split across four phases of 12 levels each, releasing gradually rather than all at once.

Phase Levels Release Date
1 1–12 September 17, 2025
2 13–24 October 17, 2025
3 25–36 January 29, 2026
4 37–48 June 3, 2026

Level 24 introduces the mode’s first major boss fight, and Level 48 closes out the full level set with a final boss encounter. All 48 levels are live as of Phase 4’s release, so no further phases are currently scheduled.

Where Each Mode Sits in Blooket’s AI History

Monster Brawl was the third Blooket mode to use AI-controlled elements, applying it to enemies that automatically chase the player around the map. Zorblitz followed later as the fifth mode to adopt AI in its own systems. Both sit inside the same broader rollout that started with Battle Royale’s AI-filler players.

Monster Brawl also carries one of Blooket’s six confirmed Mystical blooks, Spooky Ghost, who appears as a boss exclusive to the Halloween Spooky Plains map.
