How to Get Spooky Ghost in Blooket
Spooky Ghost was awarded exclusively to 1st-place winners of the Contest of Candy (CoC) event and is now permanently retired.
The Contest of Candy was an annual Halloween-themed Blooket competition held during “Spooktober.” The first two editions (2019 and 2020) were based on Candy Quest, a game mode similar to Gold Quest. In 2021, a unique escape-the-haunted-house mode replaced it. The top 25 players in each contest received tiered prizes, 1st place earned Spooky Ghost alongside the Spooky Mummy and Spooky Pumpkin chromas.

Kyle2006 won the first-ever Contest of Candy in 2019 but received no blook because Blooket did not award prizes from events until 2020. This is a commonly repeated myth: only 3 copies of Spooky Ghost exist, not 4.
In 2023, the Contest of Candy shifted from a Halloween theme to a Christmas and holiday theme. All Halloween-era CoC prizes, including Spooky Ghost, were officially retired. Hamsta Claus replaced Spooky Ghost as the new CoC Mystical prize. Spooky Ghost cannot be obtained through any method. The 3 existing copies remain in their winners’ accounts, but no new copies can be earned.

Monster Brawl (Halloween Version)
Spooky Ghost serves as the second final boss on the Halloween map. It spawns after a swarm of regular Ghost enemies. Its stats mirror the Rock Monster boss from the standard Snowy Plains map: 500 HP, 2.5 movement speed, and 9 XP crystals dropped per kill.
Santa’s Workshop
Spooky Ghost appears in Santa’s Workshop through the “Use the Force” glitch interaction.
Crypto Hack
Spooky Ghost is one of three blooks that appear as a selectable password option in Crypto Hack, alongside Owl and Toucan.
Café
Spooky Ghost appears as a customer in Café mode, the same role shared by all Mystical blooks.
Spooky Ghost Design & Appearance
Spooky Ghost is a green recolor of the Ghost blook, a Legendary from the Spooky Pack.
The base design is identical to the standard Ghost, the same rounded ghost shape, happy smile, and black eyes. Spooky Ghost recolors the entire body green with slightly different shading and has one arm raised in a waving gesture. Like all Mystical blooks, it has an animated idle motion, a slow floating and levitating pattern.
Spooky Ghost should not be confused with the base Ghost blook. Ghost is a Legendary obtainable from the Spooky Pack during Halloween with a 0.65% drop rate. Spooky Ghost is a Mystical that was only awarded from the Contest of Candy and is now permanently retired. They share the same silhouette, but Spooky Ghost is green, animated, and far rarer. Ghost also has a third variant, Ghost Cookie, a retired Chroma that was available in the 2022 Spooky Pack.

- Spooky Ghost and Wise Owl are the only retired blooks in Blooket that are not Chromas. Spooky Ghost is a Mystical, and Wise Owl is a Unique.
- The 2019 Contest of Candy winner, Kyle2006, did not receive Spooky Ghost. Blooket did not award blook prizes from events until 2020, making the inaugural contest a prize-free competition.
- Spooky Ghost is one of three blooks with “Spooky” in its name. The others are Spooky Pumpkin and Spooky Mummy, both Chroma-tier Contest of Candy prizes.
- When the Contest of Candy shifted to a holiday theme in 2023, Hamsta Claus replaced Spooky Ghost as the top Mystical prize. This made Spooky Ghost permanently retired.
