Every player in Cyber Hack picks a secret password before a single question loads, then spends the rest of the match hoping nobody guesses it. It’s one of Blooket’s Hosting-only game modes, and its entire risk system runs through that password rather than any chest, elimination, or steal-by-choice mechanic. The mode also carries a rename history unique to Blooket, since it launched as Crypto Hack before becoming Cyber Hack in 2026.
Every player selects one password from a list of five before questions begin, then earns one of three hidden outputs each time they answer correctly, drawn from a pool of eight Bot Pack blooks. A wrong answer produces no output and simply moves the player to the next question. The output a player receives is entirely random within that pool, and most outputs add Credits directly rather than triggering any action against another player.

Pulling Mega Bot is the only output that triggers an attack. It selects a random opponent automatically, and the acting player must then guess that opponent’s password from the same five-option list to steal their Credits.
Getting hacked doesn’t cost Credits by itself, it forces the targeted player through one randomly assigned mini-game task before they can keep answering questions. Nine distinct tasks exist in the pool, including repeating a memorized pattern, completing an upload bar, adjusting a temperature dial, and matching cards, with no set order to which one appears. Seven of the nine tasks are adapted from a well-known social party game format, while the remaining two are original to Cyber Hack.
Credits only change hands if the attacking player’s password guess against the target succeeds. A failed guess wastes the attacker’s Mega Bot pull without costing the target anything beyond the time spent completing their task.
Blooket renamed Crypto Hack to Cyber Hack on July 27, 2026, because the term crypto had become a controversial word, and the in-game currency changed from Crypto to Credits in the same update. Cyber Hack’s eight scoring outputs all come from the Bot Pack, while Toucan, Owl, and Spooky Ghost appear only as password-selection icons rather than as scoring blooks.
