Mummy Blook in Blooket

Mummy is a Rare blook in Blooket — found in the Spooky Pack with a 4% drop rate per opening, available only during Spooktober in October. Mummy is the only Rare in the entire game with a dedicated gameplay function beyond Café: it represents the Double Candy event in Candy Quest, instantly doubling the player’s candy count when found inside a Pumpkin Blook. Its drop rate has been reduced more times than almost any other blook — from 10.5% at launch down to its current 4% — and it carries one of the rarest awarded Chromas in the game: Spooky Mummy (Contest of Candy top 5/10, fewer than 20 owners, now retired). Spooky Pack token modelling is available at the BlooketIQ calculator.

How to Get Mummy in Blooket

Mummy drops from the Spooky Pack at a current rate of 4% — the lowest Rare rate in all of Blooket, shared by every Spooky Pack Rare. Five Epics in other packs (Unicorn 5%, French Toast 5%, Bush Monster 4.5%, Spaceship 4.5%, Snowman 4.25%) are actually easier to pull than Mummy and the other Spooky Rares.

Mummy Drop Rate History:

  • Original: 10.5%
  • First reduction: 6.7%
  • Second reduction: 5%
  • Current (2025+): 4%

This makes Mummy one of the most rate-adjusted blooks in the game — rivalled only by Snowman for the number of documented rate changes.

Mummy in Game Modes

Mummy appears across 3 game modes — Candy Quest, Monster Brawl (Halloween), and Café — the richest game mode presence of any Rare blook.

Candy Quest (Double Candy)

Mummy represents the Double Candy event in Candy Quest — doubling the player’s entire candy total when found inside a Pumpkin Blook. This mirrors the Jester’s Double Gold function in Gold Quest. While Werewolf (Epic, same pack) provides the 3× multiplier, Mummy’s 2× sits just below as the second-most impactful single pull.

Monster Brawl (Halloween)

Mummy appears as an enemy in Monster Brawl’s Spooky Plains map during Spooktober. It replaces an Ice Monster Pack blook in the standard-to-Halloween enemy swap.

Café

Mummy appears as a customer in Café.

Mummy Design & Appearance

Mummy depicts a bandage-wrapped humanoid figure with glowing eyes — the classic Egyptian mummy from horror mythology. A matching banner exists in the game featuring the same design. The Mummy blook is rooted in the mythology of Cairo, Egypt — where ancient Egyptian pharaohs were preserved through mummification, a process involving organ removal, desiccation, and wrapping in linen strips.

Mummy’s Chroma reskin — Spooky Mummy — is a green recolour awarded to top Contest of Candy finishers (top 5 in 2020 and 2022, top 10 in 2021). Fewer than 20 people own it. The Chroma is now permanently retired after the Contest of Candy shifted to a Christmas theme, with Nutcracker Koala replacing it as the CoC prize.

Mummy Trivia

  1. Mummy is the only Rare blook in Blooket with a dedicated gameplay function beyond Café — its Double Candy role in Candy Quest makes it functionally significant, not just cosmetic.
  2. Mummy’s drop rate has been reduced more times than almost any other blook: 10.5% → 6.7% → 5% → 4%. Each reduction came as the Spooky Pack expanded with new blooks and Chromas.
  3. Spooky Mummy is owned by fewer than 20 people — awarded to top Contest of Candy finishers across 2020, 2021, and 2022. It is now permanently retired and unobtainable.
  4. At 4%, every Spooky Pack Rare is harder to pull than 5 different Epics from other packs. Mummy at 4% is rarer than Unicorn (5%), French Toast (5%), Bush Monster (4.5%), Spaceship (4.5%), and Snowman (4.25%).
  5. Mummy’s Double Candy in Candy Quest mirrors the Jester’s Double Gold in Gold Quest — both are Rares that serve as 2× multipliers in their respective quest modes. Werewolf (Epic) provides the 3× above them.
  6. Real Egyptian mummification involved removing internal organs (stored in canopic jars), drying the body with natron salt for 40 days, and wrapping it in linen strips — a preservation process that could take over 70 days.
  7. Running Spooky Pack numbers during the October window? The BlooketIQ calculator breaks down expected pull distributions across every Spooky rarity tier — Mummy’s 4% rate included alongside Ghost and the seasonal Chromas. Free, independently maintained, no Blooket LLC connection.
