Overview

What Are Blooks in Blooket?

Blooks are the collectible avatar characters in Blooket, appearing next to a player's name on the hosting screen and displayed on their profile. Each blook has a distinct design: farm animals, food items, robots, mythical creatures, and fantasy characters, among others.

Players collect blooks primarily by opening packs using Blooket tokens, earned through gameplay. Some blooks are available through seasonal events or limited-time market offers. Others were awarded through competitive events and are no longer obtainable through any current method.

Every blook carries a Blook Score based on its rarity. Duplicate blooks do not raise the score; only unique blooks collected for the first time count toward it. Blooket organizes blooks across free packs, market packs, and seasonal packs, with rarity determining availability at every level.

Rarity Breakdown

Blooket Blook Rarity Tiers

Blooket blooks are organized into rarity tiers that determine how difficult each blook is to obtain, its resell value in tokens, and whether it can be pulled from a pack at all.

Rarity Drop Rate Range How to Obtain Resell Value
Common Default (free) Free packs, no tokens required Cannot sell
Uncommon ~12.5% to 19.6% Market pack openings 5 tokens
Rare ~4% to 10% Market pack openings 20 tokens
Epic ~2% to 5.15% Market pack openings 75 tokens
Legendary ~0.2% to 1% Market pack openings 200 tokens
Chroma ~0.01% to 0.08% Packs, events, or limited market offers 300 tokens
Unique Not pack-obtainable Special awards only Not sellable
Mystical Not pack-obtainable Competitive events only (retired) Not sellable
Hidden Varies Uncollected Chromas, Uniques, and Mysticals appear here Varies

Drop rate note: Figures above are community-sourced estimates. Last reviewed: March 2026. Blooket may update rates at any time without notice.

Common blooks are available to all Blooket accounts by default, no tokens required and no pack needed. Mystical blooks are no longer obtainable through any current method: all Mysticals were awarded to top finishers in past seasonal competitions and are now retired.

Chroma blooks split into three distinct types. Pack-obtainable Chromas carry probability-based drop rates in the 0.01% to 0.08% range. Event Chromas are awarded to contest winners with no pack mechanism. Guaranteed Chromas come from limited-time market packs (Lovely, Lucky, and Spring) that carry a 100% Chroma drop rate during short availability windows.

Selling a rare blook permanently lowers the player's Blook Score. The decision to sell a duplicate for tokens versus maintaining collection status carries a direct trade-off at every rarity tier above Uncommon.

Token Planning

What Drop Rates Actually Mean for Token Planning

A blook's drop rate states the probability of pulling that blook in a single pack opening, not the probability across a set number of openings.

A 0.5% drop rate does not mean a player is guaranteed to get a blook within 200 packs. After 100 packs, the cumulative probability of having pulled it at least once reaches approximately 39%. After 200 packs, it reaches roughly 63%. Each pack opening is an independent event: the result of the previous pack does not affect the next one.

Planning around single-pack drop rates leads to a significant underestimation of the actual token cost.

Acquisition Methods

How to Get Blooket Blooks

Blooket blooks are obtained through four distinct methods, each with different token requirements, probability mechanics, and availability windows.

Pack Openings (Probability-Based)

Market packs cost 20 to 25 tokens per opening. Each opening produces one blook, with results determined by the rarity drop rates for that pack. Uncommon through Chroma blooks are obtainable this way. Results are probability-based: no number of pack openings guarantees a specific blook.

Seasonal and Event Blooks

The Spooky Pack, Blizzard Pack, and Autumn Pack become available during limited seasonal windows each year. Missing a seasonal window typically means waiting until the next annual cycle. Some Chroma and Mystical blooks are awarded through competitive events, accessible only to top-ranked finishers during those events.

Guaranteed Chroma Market Packs

Certain limited-time packs, including Lovely, Lucky, and Spring, carry a 100% Chroma drop rate. These packs appear in the market for short windows. No probability calculation applies: every opening produces a Chroma. The relevant question for these packs is timing and token availability, not odds.

Retired Blooks

Some blooks are no longer obtainable through any current method. Retired event blooks cannot be earned, purchased, or traded between accounts. They exist only in the collections of players who obtained them during their original availability window.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Blooket Blooks

  • What is the rarest blook in Blooket?

Tim the Alien is the rarest blook in Blooket. It is a Mystical tier blook awarded only to top finishers in the 2021 Pokémon Are Cool event, with fewer than a handful of players ever obtaining it. Mystical blooks as a category are no longer obtainable through any current pack, event, or market method.

  • What are the rarity tiers in Blooket blooks?

Blooket blooks are organized into the following rarity tiers: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Chroma, Unique, Mystical, and Hidden. Each tier carries a distinct drop rate range, obtainability method, and resell value in tokens. The full breakdown with drop rates is in the rarity table above.

  • What is the rarest Chroma blook in Blooket?

Among pack-obtainable Chromas, the rarest carry drop rates in the 0.01% to 0.02% range, meaning cumulative odds remain below 50% even after several hundred pack openings. Retired Chromas from past seasonal events are effectively rarer in practice, since they cannot be obtained through any current method.

  • Do blooks affect gameplay in Blooket?

Blooks are purely cosmetic and have no effect on gameplay performance, answer accuracy, or scoring. Their value lies in collection, Blook Score contribution, and the resell token value when duplicates are sold.
