Mini Mine is a Blooket Plus mode where every player digs through the same shared mineshaft at once, racing to collect ore, trigger Mystery Crates, and reach Treasure Rooms before anyone else does. Directional taps mine blocks that pay out in different ways, and a shared timer unlocks five sections of the mine in sequence for everyone at the same time. Mini Mine sits inside the wider Blooket Plus modes lineup, and it’s the only mode in that lineup where every player occupies the same live space rather than a separate board or arena.
Mini Mine drops every player into one shared mineshaft, and tapping or clicking a direction mines the block that way. On desktop, WASD, arrow keys, or a direct click all move a blook through the mine, while mobile players tap the screen in the direction they want to dig. Because everyone shares the same physical mine, a block another player reaches first is simply gone, which sets Mini Mine apart from modes like Gold Quest, where taking honey happens through an abstract steal rather than a visible race for the same tile.
An energy bar drains as a player moves and mines, and once it empties, a question appears. Answering correctly refills the bar and sends the player back into the mine. The player with the highest money total when time runs out, or the first to reach the money goal, wins the round.
Blocks scattered through the mine pay out or behave differently depending on their type. Ore blocks are the mine’s core resource and range from $100 up to $1,500 or more per block, with no confirmed pattern tying higher values to any particular section of the mine. TNT blocks explode on contact and clear every block immediately around them, collecting the money from all of it at once rather than just the single block hit.

Distraction blocks exist as a confirmed category, though no source currently names specific distraction types the way Egg Hunt’s Egg Yolk or Busy Bees’ named distraction effects do. Rather than guess at names that aren’t confirmed, the honest answer is that distraction blocks affect rival players in some way without adding money to the player who triggers them.
Mystery Crates are the mine’s random-benefit blocks, and triggering one grants a temporary upgrade rather than a flat cash payout. Four upgrade types exist inside the Mystery Crate pool, and each changes how efficiently a player can mine for the rest of the round.

Landing an Ore Generator or Directional Dynamite early in a section can snowball into a meaningful cash lead, since both upgrades keep paying off for as long as the current section stays open.
Two reward types sit above ordinary ore in value. Treasure Chests appear scattered through the mine and grant bonus cash on top of whatever a player has already mined. Treasure Rooms are rarer, appear only occasionally, and hold the single largest rewards available anywhere in Mini Mine, making them worth a detour even if it means skipping visible ore along the way.
Mini Mine’s mineshaft is split into 5 timed sections, and each one carries its own countdown at the bottom of the screen. Once a section’s timer hits zero, the next section opens for every player in the game simultaneously, regardless of individual progress. This shared unlock means a player who fell behind in an earlier section gets the same fresh start as the leader the moment a new section opens, since nobody carries an unlock advantage into the next area.
Mini Mine was tested and released on the same day, September 18, 2025, using the question set “Name That Animal,” the same set used for Busy Bees’ own beta test. The mode leaked through the community before Blooket’s creator, Ben Stewart, officially announced it, and it launched one day after Zorblitz and one day before Star Grazer. Mini Mine was briefly disabled around 18:30 GMT on September 19, 2025, the day after release, and it stayed in beta until October 1, 2025.
Mini Mine requires a Blooket Plus account. It has not had the free-to-Plus flips seen in modes like Laser Tag or Busy Bees.
